我看《Little Miss Sunshine》

真正的〈旅行之家〉到來了。



幾年前謝曉虹的〈旅行之家〉告訴我們一則雲淡風輕但家庭功能失調的奇幻故事；無獨有偶，後來許正平也在〈假期生活〉中，把一家四口送上旅行的道路。《Little Miss Sunshine》亦復如此：銷售人生成功策略課程的繼父、愛吸煙的母親、同性戀且自殺失敗的舅舅、反體制不屑使用語言的兒子、身材不好但幻想自己可以奪得選美冠軍的繼女，外加一個嗑藥的爺爺。以繼女決定參加兒童選美開始，這戶家庭功能失調的怪胎家族，這次走得是公路電影路線。公路電影路線繁多，《Little Miss Sunshine》的旅行之家，現實感傷兼具黑色幽默。



全片令人印象最深刻的大概莫過於繼父的經典台詞：There are two kinds of people in this world, winners and losers。實際上，這家子所有的人都是losers，從一而終的血統命脈。Dwayne重新開口說話時，他忍不住大喊：Divorce？Bankruptcy？Suicide？You guys are fucking losers！但《Little Miss Sunshine》的好看之處除了語言的俏皮之外，在於情節的唐突滑稽又如此貼近現實。《Little Miss Sunshine》好看之處便在於，本片完全不想討好觀眾，完全不怕揭露傷口或弱點。就像Olive臨上台才藝表演之際，繼父與兒子試圖阻止「You’re the mom; you’re supposed to protect her」，但母親卻制止了「Olive is who she is／let Olive be Olive」。那是一家子的人生，旁人無從干涉起，也無法負責的人生。更重要的也許就是舅舅跟Dwayne評論普魯斯特那段話：



Yeah. French writer. Total loser. Never had a real job. Unrequited love affairs. Gay. Spent 20 years writing a book almost no one reads. But he's also probably the greatest writer since Shakespeare. Anyway, he uh... he gets down to the end of his life, and he looks back and decides that all those years he suffered, Those were the best years of his life, 'cause they made him who he was. All those years he was happy? You know, total waste. Didn't learn a thing. So, if you sleep until you're 18... Ah, think of the suffering you're gonna miss.



我們只有經過所有的傷痛，經過所有的傷疤與療癒過程，才能沈澱出美好的。像泰戈爾（Rabindranath Tagore）的那段詩：



WHEN I stand before thee at the day's end thou shalt see my scars and know that I had my wounds and also my healing.
