因為接連被Durham與York拒絕，昨天便下午請假去了一趟英國教育展，打算開始找幾間備胎學校。臨行前特地找了小毛再度同行，小毛也正好有Music & Lyrics的電影票。於是就先去劃位，在去英國教育展。



由於這次要找的是備胎學校，因此選的不再是排名前5名的學校，而是前20名的學校都，無魚蝦也好。結果發現落差果然相當巨大。例如去Royal Holloway（排名15）時，攤位的International Officer（以下簡稱IO）跟我有這樣的對話：



IO：Have you done your IELTS yet?

Me：Yes.

IO：How did you score?

Me：7.5.

IO：WOW.

IO：And your writing score?

Me：7.0

IO：WOW.

IO：So what's your GPA? 2 or 3?

Me：4.0.

IO：WOW.

IO：Then I think you should directly talk to the department. I will make you an unconditional offer.



後來就在會場遇到了大學學妹瑪吉。後來就唧唧呱呱地一路聊到電影快開場。在這樣的鬱悶情況下出去走走，感覺很好啊，陽光炙烈，而就像大學時代那些閒適的時光，學校的大草原上遇到了，索性就坐下來聊個兩句。



老實說，Music & Lyrics並不是太好看，但我只能說寫出80s年代的曲風以及拍出80s年代的MV，嗯嗯，很屌。不過也無所謂啦。早就知道是無腦片，因此便不會要求太高。XD



片中Hugh Grant跟Drew Barrymore合唱的Way Back to Love，以及獨唱的Don’t Write Me Off都還不錯聽。尤其是Don’t Write Me Off。某些人來過心上的，又走了。縱使都離開了，總是還留著位置。是的，don’t write me off just yet…
